I remember more than ten years ago, while in high school, sitting in the chapel, partly distracted, when I heard the priest say, ‘One thing the devil has going for him is that he’s patient.’ In other words, what the priest was trying to say, and what we ended up believing is, however much we try to resist the devil, it’s just a matter of time before we give in and fall back into sin.
