This truth will set you free from the fear of sin.

I remember when I fully understood the message of Grace; that all my sins were forgiven, and regardless of what I did or didn’t do, my ticket to heaven was guaranteed, and God would never stop loving me. That literally gave me a brain freeze. I’m not kidding. I meditated on this concept daily for about 8 months until one evening my brain just froze. My brain couldn’t take it anymore. But at least it had gotten the point. And that point was that my sins had been forgiven. I was so excited that I actually spent the next few months telling everyone that I knew about the grace of God. If I’d known you then, I probably would have told you about the grace of God as well.

But since I didn’t know you then, I’ll do it today.

Imagine you just got married, and your spouse says that they’ve decided to forgive you in advance. They know you aren’t perfect and regardless of what you do they’ll never be angry, hold a grudge, or file for divorce, till death do you part. Your first reaction would definitely be suspicion, just like many people are suspicious of the grace of God initially, but eventually, when you realize that they actually mean what they say, that suspicion would turn into extreme joy, and you end up treating your spouse with so much love, not out of fear but out of genuine love because you now know that they love you regardless of what you do, which is rear to find in this generation.

That’s grace, and that’s the agreement that Jesus has with you. He knows all the sins that you’ll ever commit, and He has decided that He’s going to forgive you beforehand, and there is nothing that you’ll ever do that will make him change His mind about you. Nothing. I don’t know what you just did as you read this but I want to remind you that God loves you, and is not condemning you at all.

Let's read some scripture.

John 1:29 — “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

You see in the olden days, people had to take a spotless lamb to the high priest, who sacrificed the lamb on their behalf, and then their sins were forgiven. The problem was that their sins were forgiven temporarily, and every time they sinned they had to sacrifice another lamb, which was often because everyone sins often.

But Jesus came and bore the sins of the entire world on Himself, and as a result, all your sins are forgiven, including the ones that you haven’t even committed yet. Many people have a problem believing that God loves them, let alone believe that all their sins are forgiven.

Beloved I don’t care what you did, God has already forgiven all your sins.

A prayer to give your life to Christ.

The complete and utter payment for our sins is not available to everyone. It’s only available to those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jesus loves you so much, He literally died for you. There is no one else in history that has done that for you. That’s how much He loves you and would like to start a relationship with you. If you feel convicted right now and would like to start a relationship with Jesus, I’d like to encourage you to say this prayer:

‘Lord Jesus. Today I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life, and make me brand new. Take my life and do something significant with it.’

If you said that prayer, I believe you got born again. Get into a Bible-based church and watch God do wonders in your life.
